Planning consent was secured for Cameron Homes (April 2023) for a scheme of 18 homes at Sutton Park Road, Kidderminster. The site comprised a former care homes and small housing allocation contained within the recently adopted Local Plan. Combining these two sites allowed for a comprehensive scheme that made the best use of a previously developed site. The presence of Tree Preservation Orders (TPO), changes in levels and neighbouring bungalows represented challenging constraints to be overcome. Evidence was submitted as part of the application pack to justify the use of Vacant Building Credit (VBC). The site is currently under construction.
