Evolve Planning secured planning consent for Cameron Homes (February 2022) for their Wood Heath scheme comprising 50 homes, a new car park to serve Landywood Railway Station and the first phase of a new country park to serve residents within Cheslyn Hay and Great Wyrley.

The proposal restores a site compromised by former mining operations. 

In October 2024 consent was achieved for a further 17 dwellings and these are currently under construction.

In March 2025, Evolve Planning is assisting Cameron Homes to achieve planning consent on Phase 2 of the site that will include 130 new homes, the completion of a substantial new country park and allotments.
